Mrs. Gertrude M. "Gerty" (Ellsey) Pothier, 84, of Andover, Massachusetts, formerly of Salem, NH, passed away on Monday, May 10th, 2010 at the Academy Manor Nursing Home in Andover, MA.
She was born on May 2nd, 1926 in Lawrence to the late Stephen and Clara (Daniels) Ellsey. Gertrude was educated in the Lawrence Schools and attended Saint Mary's Church in Lawrence and Saint Josephs Church in Salem, NH.
She worked for the Pacific Mills and later as a Sales Person for W. T. Grant Company for some 20 + years, both located in Lawrence, MA. She enjoyed
bowling, dancing and during her youth she was a fancy roller-skater winning various competitions.

Her funeral service will be celebrated on Friday, May 14th, 2010 at 12:00 Noon in the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, MA.
Her burial will take place at a later date.
