Aurora “Ann” Catanzano, 93, passed away at the Melrose Wakefield Hospital on May 6th, 2010. She was born in Somerville on November 18th, 1916 to her parents Saverio and Luigia (Patella) Catanzano. Ann was raised and educated in Everett. She was an employee of Delta Airlines for over 50 years. Ann held many managerial positions while at Delta and also worked as a clerk at the ticket counter. She has been a resident of Wakefield for the past 10 years and is a former resident of Medford. Along with her parents, she was also predeceased by her sisters; Mary Ciulla, Frances Della Piana and Florence Roome and by her brothers; Salvatore, Frank, Anthony and Joseph Catanzano. Ann is survived by several nieces and nephews and many grandnieces and grandnephews. Relatives & friends are invited to attend her funeral from the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden on Friday May 14th at 8 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 9 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden. Visitation will be held prior to the Mass on Friday only.
