Obituary

WORCESTER-Mihail Gatsios, 71, of Worcester, died Sunday, May 9th in St. Vincent Hospital. He leaves two aunts, Eugenia Gatsios and Bessie Sahinis; and four cousins, Charles Gatsios, Marina Stratis, Vasilios Sahinis, and Alexandra Koukakis. He was predeceased by a brother, George Gatsios.
He was born in Greece, the son of Dimitrios and Kalliopi (Moukas) Gatsios and lived here for many years. Mr. Gatsios worked as a baker at Table Talk Pie Company for 25 years, retiring in 2003. He was a member of St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral and the Order of AHEPA.
The funeral is Thursday, May 13th with a service at 10:00 A.M. in St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 102 Russell Street. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, is directing arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 102 Russell Street, Worcester, MA 01609.
