WORCESTER-Mihail Gatsios, 71, of Worcester, died Sunday, May 9th in St. Vincent Hospital. He leaves two aunts, Eugenia Gatsios and Bessie Sahinis; and four cousins, Charles Gatsios, Marina Stratis, Vasilios Sahinis, and Alexandra Koukakis. He was predeceased by a brother, George Gatsios.
He was born in Greece, the son of Dimitrios and Kalliopi (Moukas) Gatsios and lived here for many years. Mr. Gatsios worked as a baker at Table Talk Pie Company for 25 years, retiring in 2003. He was a member of St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral and the Order of AHEPA.
The funeral is Thursday, May 13th with a service at 10:00 A.M. in St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 102 Russell Street. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, is directing arrangements.
