SPENCER: Rita C. (Archambault) Lamoureux, 93 of 95 Maple St., died Friday, May 7 at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.
Her husband of 68 years, Emile G. Lamoureux, died in 2005. She leaves her son Paul E. Lamoureux of Cambridge, two nephews Ray Archambault and Dr. Kent Lamoureux, and a niece Elaine Lorion.
Rita graduated from the former Commerce High in Worcester and Salter’s Business School. She was a longtime communicant and former Eucharistic Minister for 15 years at Mary,Queen of the Rosary Parish and a member of the St. Anne’s Sodality at St. Mary’s Church. At onetime, she was a buyer for Sharfman’s Jewelry Store in Worcester.
Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Arthur and Melvina (Ledoux) Archambault .
The funeral will be held on Monday, May 10 from the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer with a Mass at 10a.m. in Our Lady of the Rosary Church, 7 Church St., Spencer. Entombment will follow in Notre Dame Mausoleum, Worcester. A calling hour will precede the funeral on Monday from 8:30 to 9:30a.m. in the funeral home.
