Lin, Chi-Sun - of Winchester, May 8th, in the loving presence of his family. Mr. Lin was born in Chengdou, China in 1923. During WWII he volunteered to join the Foreign Affairs Bureau of the Chinese Army to aid the Allies. He was transferred to the US in 1945 as a translator for American and Chinese soldiers. After the war, he received his Masters in Electrical Engineering at the University of Texas at Austin. He and the FAB members remaining in the US were granted citizenship by a Congressional Resolution. Mr. Lin eventually moved to Boston where he worked for 25 years at MIT’s Lincoln Laboratory where he met his wife to be, Betty, through a ski club. They moved to Winchester in 1971 where they raised their two children, Heather of Mt. Laurel, NJ and Kevin of Cambridge. Visitation will be held in the Costello Funeral Home, 177 Washington St., Winchester on Mon. from 5-8PM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited.
