Ann M. (Neely) Hayes, 90 of Walpole died May 7 in the Charlwell House Nursing Facility in Norwood. She was the wife of the late Rens Hayes.
Born in Boston, May 15, 1919, the daughter of the late Franklin and Catherine (Reagan) Neely, Mrs. Hayes was raised in Boston and had lived in Walpole for the past 50 years.
Mrs. Hayes had been a homemaker for most of her life but following the death of her husband, she worked as a billing clerk for the Transcript Newspaper for several years.
Mrs. Hayes loved to dance and garden and was an active member of Blessed Sacrament Church.
She is survived b her sons, Ronald Hayes and his wife, Tracy of Foxboro and Roger Hayes and his wife, Susan of Norton.
She was the mother of the late Richard, Robert, and Rens Hayes and Barbara Tipton.
She is also survived by her sister, Sr. Irene Neely of Hackensack, New Jersey, 13 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
She was the sister of the late Catherine, Frank, John, Estelle, Mary and James.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 12 in Blessed Sacrament Church at 9:00 a.m.
Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery in South Walpole.
