George R. "Raymond" Eaton Jr., 77 of Eaton St. North Smithfield, died Wednesday in Landmark Medical Center. He was born in Woonsocket, the son of the late George and Marceline (Senn) Eaton. He was the husband of Nancy (Allaire) Eaton. Mr. Eaton was an auto body technician for the former Jay Motors and Senn Motors in Woonsocket for many years retiring in 1998. In addition to his wife he is survived by a son Ronald Eaton of North Smithfield, two daughters; Deborah Trudelle, and Kathy Shaw, both of North Smithfield, six grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
His funeral will be held Tuesday at 9:30 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St. , with a service in the funeral home beginning at 10:00AM. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Slatersville.
Visiting hours will be Monday 5-7 PM.
