Armand C. POTVIN, 85, of Mineral Spring Avenue, died Thursday, May 6, 2010 at Fatima Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Alma (Grandchamp) Potvin. They would have celebrated 58 years of marriage on May 17.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Lou A. and Alice L. (Beaumont) Potvin. He lived in Providence until 2001. He was a member of the former RI Sidebanders and a WWII Army veteran. He was a foreman at Garland Industries in Coventry for over 50 years until retiring.
He is survived by many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late William L. Potvin, Corrine Carmel and Bernice Kelley.
Funeral Monday at 10:30am from the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in Mary Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth Street, North Providence. Burial in St. Ann’s Cemetery. Visitation Monday 9:30 – 10:30am.
