SALEM, NH - Russell E. Smith, age 56, died Thursday, May 6, at Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH. He was the husband of Beverley H. (Boudreau) Smith, with whom he celebrated their 21st Wedding Anniversary last October 15th. He was born in Stoneham, MA, on October 25, 1953, a son of Jean R. (Ridlon) Smith and the late Albert Smith. He was raised in Chelmsford, graduated from Chelmsford High School with the Class of 1971, continued his education as an accountant from the former Lowell Technilogical Institute, currently U-Lowell, North, and received a BSBA from L.T.I. in 1975.. He resided in Tewksbury were he was a manager of Tew-Mac Airport, and airplane instructor and a member of the Aircraft Pilots and Owners Association. He moved to Salem, NH, in 1999 where he founded, owned and operated by AES Business Services L.L.C.
Besides his wife Beverley of Salem, NH, and his mother Jean of Chelmsford, MA, he is survived by a stepson; Thomas D. Murray and his wife Michele (Marcoux) of Derry, NH, a brother; Rick Smith of Sherman Oaks, CA, two grandchildren; Aaron Lussier and Samantha Anne Murray both of Derry, NH.
A Celebration of His Life Memorial Service was held Monday, May 10th, in the Funeral Home. Memorial contributions to the Dana Farber Cancer Center, N.H. Services, 10 Brookline Place West, 6th Floor, Brookline, MA 02445-7226, will be most appreciated.
