Gloria R. (Rogers) Lanning, 80, of Hampstead, NH and North Point, FL died Tues. May 4th at her home.
Gloria was born and educated in Oregon, graduating from Eugene High School. She previously lived in Washington State and several communities in Massachusetts. While living in Massachusetts, she had 1 year of Nurses training and worked at a nursing home in Wayland. Gloria was a very active volunteer and volunteered for the American Heart Assoc. and for the churches in the communities where she resided. She was a member and former Queen Mother of a Red Hat Society group, an active member of the P.E.O. organization, a member of Hampstead Congregational Church and a member of Lutheran Church of the Living Waters in Florida. Gloria was a founder of the Hampstead Garden Club and a Friend of the Hampstead Library.
After retiring, Gloria and her husband, David, wintered in Florida and summered in Old Orchard Beach, ME and Hampstead. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and enjoyed their Friday Night Dinners and she loved spending time with her grandchildren. Gloria was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who was dearly loved and she will be deeply missed.
She was predeceased by her siblings Forrest “Bud” Rogers and Halice Willoughby.

A Memorial Service will be Tues. at 1:00PM at Hampstead Congregational Church. A Memorial Service will be held Tues. May 18th at 11AM at Lutheran Church of the Living Waters in Florida.
