She is survived by her three brothers, Angelo Giangregorio of Worcester, Ignatius Giangregorio of Worcester, and Joseph Giangregorio of Paxton. She leaves many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Millie was predeceased by a brother, Ralph Giangregorio, a nephew, Michael Giangregorio, and a niece Debra Burbank.

Born on June 13, 1922 in Everett, Massachusetts a daughter of the late Giovanni and Mary(D’Elia) Giangregorio. Loving wife of sixty-three years to the late Angelo Capozzo who passed on December 18, 2009.

Millie was a graduate of Commerce High School and had worked as a clerk for Norton Company and Worcester Envelope.

Millie was an independent spirit and a hard worker. She enjoyed the simple things in life….gathering with family and friends, camping with her nieces and nephews, being with her extended family, playing cards with “the girls”, cooking delicious Italian foods, celebrating holiday traditions and just being home.

She was a devoted wife and Uncle Honey was the love of her life. Together they laughed, danced, and spent many happy winters in Florida, where they always welcomed company.

In recent years, her life became quieter as she cared for her beloved husband and his illness. Family and friends are grateful for having shared her life and will miss her.

The family wished to acknowledge the devotion and compassion that her nephew Ralph “Butch” showed to Aunt Millie in the last few years.

She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel – St Ann Church.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday May 8th from FAZIO FUNERAL HOME, 9 Branch St. Worcester to be followed by a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel- St Ann Church at 10am.
