SALEM - Phyllis A. (Buxton) Minter, age 91, of Salem, died Monday afternoon, May 3, 2010 at the Grosvenor Park Nursing Center, Salem.
Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Harry L. and Mildred E. (Burke) Buxton and was a lifelong resident of the city.
Prior to her retirement in the 1980's, Mrs Minter was employed by GTE Sylvania at the Loring Avenue, Salem plant for over 40 years and was a member of the GTE Sylvania Quarter Century Club.
Phyllis is survived by her daughter, Judith G. DeAngelis of Montclair, New Jersey and several nephews, including Ronald Liberge of Beverly. She was predeceased by a brother, George N. Buxton and a sister, Martha O. Liberge.
A committal service will be held Thursday, May 6, 2010 at 1 pm at the family lot in Harmony Grove Cemetery, Salem. Relatives and friends respectfully invited. There are no visiting hours. Funeral arrangements are by the Full-Spychalski Funeral Home, 84 Washington Square East, by Salem Common, Salem.
