Fall River - Edith M. (Lockinger) Boardman, 84, of Fall River, formerly of Tiverton,RI, died at Southpoint Rehabilitation & Skilled Care on October 25, 2003. She was thewidow of Frank H. Boardman.
She was born in Tiverton daughter of the late Peter and Mary M. (Manchester)Lockinger and resided there most of her life. She was a graduate of B.M.C. DurfeeHigh School, class of 1936. She was a member of the Holy Trinity Church, Tiverton. She was employed for 20 years as a waitress by the Oak Manor Restaurant, Tivertonfor 10 years by Imperial Cleaners in New Bedford and for 5 years as a housekeeper bythe Portsmouth Abbey, Portsmouth, RI.
Mrs. Boardman was a life member of the Nanaquaket Grange P. of H.,Tiverton; a member of the Newport County Pamona Grange; the Rhode Island StateGrange; the National Grange; and Sarah Rebeccah, Portsmouth.
Survivors include several grandchildren including Susan L'Europa of LittleCompton, RI; several great-grandchildren; 3 great great-grandchildren; and severalgreat nieces & nephews.
She was step-mother of the late Pauline Simmons and sister ofthe late Henry Lockinger and Martha Hathaway.

Funeral service Wednesday, October 29, 2003 at 11:00 A.M. at the Holy TrinityChurch, Tiverton, RI.
