Bernard J. Donahue, of Windham, NH, formerly a long time resident of Lynnfield, MA, passed away suddenly on April 27th, 2010 at the age of 87. Loving husband of the late Claire Louise (Hadley) Donahue. Father of Claire Powers and her husband Harry of Peabody, MA; the late Bernard J. Donahue, Jr.; Kevin P. Donahue of Lynnfield, MA; Regina McLaughlin and her husband Marcel of Windham, NH; and June Salvaneschi and her husband Joseph of Atkinson, NH. Grandfather of Daniel, Megan, and Melissa McLaughlin; Michael Powers; and Joseph, Elise, Caroline, and Liana Salvaneschi. Bernard attended Tufts University. Bernard was a WW II Veteran of the United States Army having served in the 12th and 15th Airborne. An ironworker, Bernard was a member of the Iron Worker Union Local No. 7. Relatives & friends are invited to attend his funeral at the Goudrey & Dewhirst Funeral Home, 42 Main St., Salem NH . Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 5th from 4-6 PM followed by a service at 6:00pm at the funeral home..
