OBITUARY
Fitchburg
Daniel S. Salmond, 55, died at home Sunday May 2 after an illness.
He was born in Fitchburg, June 23, 1954, the son of Charles and Annetta
(Hubbard) Salmond and was a life long resident. He attended local schools
and attained his GED.
Prior to retiring due to illness, Dan was a driver for local courier
companies. He was a musician and played in local bands. His real passion
was working on cars.. He loved the beach and nature walks. He regularly
walked 3 milesa day. He was very helpful to his many friends and was
willing to help anyone in need.
Dan leaves his sons, Eric D. and Mark T. Salmond, both of Fitchburg, his
brother, Charles D. Salmond, his girl friend Maria Carriero and his former
wife Sandra L. (Goss) Salmond all of Fitchburg. Nieces and nephews.
A celebration of his life will be held on Friday May 7 from 6 to 8 P.M. in the
Bosk Funeral Home 85 Blossom St.
