Curtis, Jr. Loving mother of Mary Roberta Curtis Doherty and her husband George Doherty; Linda M. Jarvis and her husband Robert; Dr. Jean Curtis Loud and her late husband Frederick Loud, Jr. and Robert E. Curtis, III and his wife Helen. Grandmother of ten and the late Adam Curtis Loud. Also survived by 7 great grandchildren. Sister-in-law of Ophelia Molla. Sister of the late General William W. Molla and Richard Molla.Funeral Mass in the Chapel of Mary at Stonehill College 321 Washington St., Easton, MA 02334 Tuesday at 11 am. Burial in Mass National Cemetery, Bourne at 1:15 pm. Obituary
Mrs. Curtis died Friday evening. She was born in Boston daughter of the late Richard Molla and Atty. Albina (Dordoni) Molla. She has been a resident of Brockton for the past 5 years previously residing in Dorchester for 50 years. She was a graduate of Girls High School in Boston and Portia Law School Class of 1942.
She married in 1942 and dedicated her life to raising her family. Mrs. Curtis loved the arts and introduced her children to music, ballet, literature, poetry and archeology. She also enjoyed traveling
Mrs. Curtis was active in the Boston Parent Teacher Association and had worked for equal pay for women teachers.
She was the wife for 59 years of the late Robert E. Curtis, Jr.
