WORCESTER-Margarita (Roman) Martinez, 81, passed away Friday, April 30.
She leaves her loving husband of 63 years, Angel Martinez; two sons, Angel M. Martinez, Jr. of Worcester and Felipe Martinez of Leicester; two daughters, Bendicta Correa of Meriden, CT and Elizabeth Rojas of Worcester; her brother, Porfilio Roman of Long Beach, NY; her sister, Josefina Roman of Puerto Rico; 13 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews including, Ricardo Roman of Puerto Rico.
She was born in Vega Alta, Puerto Rico the daughter of Rodolfo and Aurora (Class) Roman and came to the U.S. in November of 1956. Margarita was a member of St. Peter’s Church.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, May 4 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass at 10:00 AM at St. Peter’s Church, 931 Main St. Interment will be in Notre Dame Cemetery.
