Florette E. Paquin 88, formerly of Bellingham, died peacefully, Tuesday at St. Antoine Residence. She was the wife of the late Lionel J. Paquin. Mrs. Paquin was born in St. John's, Canada, a daughter of the late Joseph and Melvina (St. Michell) Bergeron. She was a stitcher for several area textile mills for many years before becoming a homemaker.
She is survived by three sons Frank W. Bryda Jr. and his wife Alice of Woonsocket, John Bryda of Cape Cod, MA, and Dennis Paquin of CA, a daughter Patricia Davis of CT, three brothers Robert, Joseph and Lionel Bergeron all of Woonsocket, two sisters Annette Bergeron and Germaine Metzinger both of Woonsocket, fifteen grandchildren including William F. Bryda of Woonsocket and ten great grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late Aime, Eugene and Arthur Bergeron and Grace Desmarais.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 11:00 AM in St. Antoine Residence Chapel, 10 Rhodes Ave. N. Smithfield, RI. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Antoine Community, 10 Rhodes Ave. North Smithfield, RI 02896-6999 in her memory would be appreciated. Arrangements are under the direction of the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home.
