
Sarah Morgan Percival, 25, an Andover native and current resident of Fleetwood, North Carolina passed away on April 23rd, 2010.
Sarah, the late daughter of Marvin and Lisa Percival of Andover, Massachusetts, leaves behind her five brothers Damien, Shane, John and his wife Alyssa, Luke, and Sam; her loving grandparents Adrienne and Salvatore Yemma of Haverhill, MA; she also leaves behind her loving uncle Eric Yemma, his wife Kathleen, and two children Eric and Margaret of Kennebunk, ME; her uncle John & Josephine in Sydney, Australia; her uncle Geoff and Dawn Drake in Napier, New Zealand; her uncle Jay Ohlemeier and Maree Percival of Hayes, Kansas; and her aunt Debra Penman and daughter Rosene in Sydney, Australia. Sarah will be missed by her boyfriend and companion of 7 years Jake Wiley. She was blessed to be loved by Mike, Teresa, Jake and Gus Wiley and some of her fondest memories were had on their farm in York, South Carolina.
Sarah was born at Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts on April 6th, 1985 and attended Bancroft Elementary School, Doherty Middle School, and Andover High School. She was a graduate of Appalachian State University with a B.S. degree in Environmental Science with a focus on Sustainable Development.
Sarah was actively involved in non-profit organizations in the Boone, North Carolina area working against mountain top removal of coal in the Appalachian mountain chain. She was a devoted animal lover leaving behind her two dogs, Willow and Pearl. She will forever be remembered for her love of live music, her laughter, and her strong affection for the outdoors. She will be greatly missed and remembered in our hearts for her love, passion, and respect for everyone. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Monday May 3, 2010 from 3:30 to 6 pm at The Charles Dewhirst Andover Funeral Home, 33 Pearson Street, Andover a memorial service will follow at 6:00 pm on Monday at the funeral home.
