Ralph Ross, 52, of Royston, Georgia (formerly of Fitzgerald) died Thursday, April 29, 2010 at Athens Regional Hospital in Athens, Georgia.
Funeral services will be held 4 PM Sunday, May 2 at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald with Rev. Donnie Bentley officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 P.M. Saturday evening at the funeral home in Fitzgerald.
Mr. Ross was born April 6, 1958 in Ocilla, Georgia to the late William Ralph “Billy” and Betty Jean Smith Ross. He attended Irwin County High School. Mr. Ross lived in Royston, Georgia for the past four years where he worked for Beaulieu of America. He was a former employee of Modern Fibers, West Point Pepperell Mill and Shaw Industries, all in Tifton.
Mr. Ross is survived by a daughter & son-in-law: Crissy & Dean McMahan of Columbia, SC; sisters & brother-in-law: Teresa & George Lanier of Rochelle, Carla Ross of Ocilla and Melanie Drawdy of Tifton; brother and sister-in-law: Kyle & Angel Ross of Eufaula, AL; grandchildren: Amber McMahan and Britain McMahan as well as several nieces and nephews.
