Mrs. Rose E. (Berube) Cayer, of Plymouth and formerly of Taunton, died Thurday, April 29 at her residence following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Edmond H. Cayer. She was born 99 years ago in Taunton, the daughter of the late Armand and Augustine (Turcotte) Berube. She was educated in Central Falls, R.I., and had been a Taunton resident for most of her life. She was a Girl Scout Leader, and was a member of the Taunton Mothers Club, the Sodalite des Dames de Ste. Anne and the L’Union des Prieres. Mrs. Cayer enjoyed travelling, reading, baking, doing crossword puzzles and spending time with her family. She was a communicant of the former St. Jacques
Church in Taunton.

Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, Taunton, on Monday, May 3 at 9:00 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Jude the Apostle Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held on Sunday, from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Cranberry Hospice, 36 Cordage Park Circle, Suite 326, Plymouth, Ma., 02360.
