Ruth C. Hutton, 86, Clarksville, died Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at Golden Living Center, Springfield, TN.
A celebration of life service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Chapel with Dr. Felts Dent officiating.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service Saturday at the funeral home.
Neal-Tarpley-Parchman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
She was born December 12, 1923 in Cookeville, TN daughter of the late Haskell Cole and Beulah Dillon Cole. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Elmer Vernon Craig and Frank Dale Hutton.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Clarksville. Mrs. Hutton retired as manager of the Clarksville Credit Bureau.
Survivors include son Scott Craig (Jo), Nashville; step-son, William Hutton (Barbara), Clarksville; daughter, Barbara Shaffer, Nashville; step-daughter, Jean Hutton Kleeman (William), Clarksville; four grandchildren, Paul Shaffer, Rebecca Kleeman Weyant (Brian), Anna Dale Hutton Hiatt (Mark), and Pier Louise Hutton Davis (Jeremy); and one great-grandchild, Michael Ryan Weyant.
Pallbearers will be Earl Bradley, John Halliburton, Bill Kleeman,Lawson Mabry, Paul Schaaf, Eric Wells, and Carney Wright.
