BILLERICA: Anne M. (Pineau) Callahan, age 88, a Billerica resident for the past 5 years, formerly of Tewksbury and Dorchester, passed away of Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at the Life Care Center of the Merrimack Valley in Billerica.
She was the beloved wife of John T. Callahan, who passed away on January 11, 1985.
Born on Prince Edward Island in Canada on June 4, 1921, she was the daughter of the late John Pineau and the late Evangeline (Arsenault) Pineau.
She is survived by one son, John T. Callahan, Jr. of Tewksbury; five daughters, Joan M. Anton and her husband Robert of Billerica, Barbara A. McDonald of North Quincy, Patricia Bernardinelli of E. Bridgewater, Elaine Sutton and her husband William of Lowell and Mary Ellis of Florida; three brothers, Anthony Pineau of Weymouth, Wilfred Pineau of Dorchester and Joseph Pineau and his wife Delores of Nashua, NH; one sister Jean Rizzo and her husband Anthony of Arizona; sixteen grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Callahan was the mother of the late Theresa Adduci.
Calling hours Sunday, May 2, from 5-8 p.m., at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. Funeral Monday, May 3rd, at 10:30 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:30 a.m. at St. William's Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury. Following cremation, interment will be at Tewksbury Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Life Care Center of the Merrimack Valley, 80 Boston Rd., Billerica, MA 01862.
