Obituary

Mr. William R. Davis 85, of Medford died Tuesday at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Rita (Dorsi) Davis with whom he shared more than 59 years of marriage.
Mr. Davis was born in South Boston, son of the late William and Frances (Powers) Davis. Mr. Davis worked for many years as the Union Representative for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers I.B.E.W. #1505. He served in the United States Army during WWII. Bill used to like occasional trips to Saratoga Springs, dancing with his wife and spending quality time with his family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was a man with great enthusiasm for Disney World and looked forward to spending time regularly in the Magic Kingdom. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters: Valerie Flannery and her husband Paul of MA, Francine Rondina and her husband Tom of ME., two sons: William Davis and his wife Diane of NH, Anthony Davis and his wife Tammy of CA. Grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Brother of Dorothy White of South Boston. Father of the late Donna Shields and brother of the late Leah Gorman and Anna McCarthy. Friends may call on Sunday from 3 thru 7 at Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, A Funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner Street, Medford, Monday at 10:00 am. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
