Obituary

TEWKSBURY, MA: Donald R. Huot, age 90, a Biddeford native, passed away on Monday, April 26, 2010 at his home, with his family by his side.
He was the beloved husband of Rena C. (Dubois) Huot, with whom he would have celebrated their 74th wedding anniversary on June 18, 2010.
Born in Biddeford on February 26, 1920, he was the son of the late William and Rose (Binette) Huot.
Mr. Huot was raised in Biddeford and attended St. Andre's School.
In 1944, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served during World War II with Company B 61st Signal Battalion. Mr. Huot was awarded several decorations for his military service including the European African Middle Eastern Ribbon and the Word War II Victory Medal.
Mr. Huot resided in Biddeford until moving to Tewksbury, MA in 1963.
Prior to his retirement in 1983, he was employed as a tool & dye maker by the Hycor Company in Wilmington, MA. Mr. Huot previously worked for the Saco-Lowell Shop in Biddeford and AVCO Company in Lowell, MA.
He was a former member of the Biddeford Knights of Columbus.
In addition to his beloved wife Rena, he is survived by two sons, Norman W. Huot and his wife Mary of Billerica, MA and Roger D. Huot and his wife Carmen of Leominster, MA; two grandchildren, Rodney Huot and his wife Ann of Athol, MA, and Cheryl Keough and her husband David of Gardner, MA; also five great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass on Saturday, May 1st, at 10:30 a.m., at. St. Joseph's Church, Elm St., Biddeford. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Biddeford. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to St. Andres Health Care Facility, 407 Pool St., Biddeford, ME 04005.
