Eleanor (Tomasello) Baker passed away on April 27, 2010. She was 87 years old.
Born and raised in Norwood, Eleanor was a longtime resident of Malden for over 50 years. She was an avid bingo player and was known for her famous banana bread.
Eleanor was the devoted wife of the late George R. Baker, her husband of 41 years. She was the beloved mother of Richard Baker, George “Bob” Baker and his wife Christine of Medford and the late Marilyn Williams. Eleanor was the dear sister of Peter Tomasello and his wife Frances of Malden and was preceded in death by 6 siblings. She was the loving Nana to Kelly, Gregg, Michael, Johnathan, Michelle, Rosemary and Ryan and the cherished great-grandmother to Caitlyn, Michael, Irie, Dalton, Patrick and Sean. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Thursday, April 29th at 10:00 a.m. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. prior to the service. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
