Mary Hewitt Bowlby formerly of Canton, MA & Bristol, NH passed away April 21st at Hearthstone in Brockton, MA after a long illness. Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY she had lived in Canton, MA for many years and Bristol, NH from 1970-2005. She was an active member of the Bristol Garden Club where she helped decorate the floats for the 4th of July and the Bicentennial. She was also a member of the Bristol Snow Shoe Club and an active member of St. Timothy’s Church. Beloved wife of the late Vincent Hewitt & Arthur Bowlby. Mother of Vincent Hewitt & his wife Kimberly of CA, Eileen Stockus & her husband Peter, Robert Hewitt & his wife Lois & Patricia Shaughnessy & her husband Paul all of Canton. Sister of Bernadette Karschbaum & her husband Jack of N.J. & Raymond Spratt & his wife Mary of FL. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren & many nieces & nephews. A funeral mass will be held at Our Lady of Grace Church 2 West Shore Rd Bristol, NH Tuesday at 11 am. Burial at Homeland Cemetery in Bristol. Arrangements by the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home, Canton
