Paul K. Hunt, of Malden, of Malden, a former long-time Medford resident, died Tuesday at home in the company of his loving family. He was 67.
Paul was born and raised in Medford, the son of the late John and the late Barbara (Kendall) Hunt. After graduating from Medford High, Paul enlisted in the Army and participated in the intense mobilization during the Cuban Missile Crisis. After his honorable discharge, Paul worked with the Teamsters Union and drove for Texaco Oil, until his retirement. Paul was devoted to his family. He loved working on cars and trucks, restoring a 1968 Camero SS.
He was the beloved husband of Ann (Birt) Hunt. He was a devoted father to Paul Hunt, Jr and his wife Jennifer of Goffstown, NH, Karen Ianniciello and her husband Elio of Wilmington, Derek Hunt and his wife Shari of Tilton, NH. He was a loving grandfather to Krista, Austin, Gregory, Jacob, Samantha, Alyssa and a dear brother to Sheila Morris of Revere, the late John and Chick Hunt.
His funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Friday, April 30th at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in the Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant Street, Malden, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4 - 8. Services will conclude with burial at Forest Dale Cemetery, Malden.
