Joseph S. Hamelburg of North Eastham, formerly of Brockton, died April 22 from complications of Lymphoma. Beloved husband of Joan (Zeeland) Hamelburg for 47 years. Pre-deceased by his parents, Helen (Casey) and Jacob Hamelburg and his brother John. He is survived by his brother Daniel of S. Yarmouth, his brother-in-law and best friend Jon Zeeland of N. Easton, many beloved nieces and nephews and Princess, his yellow Lab.
A man of generous nature with a fine sense of humor and a fun loving spirit, Joe will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Rt. 6, Wellfleet on Saturday, May 15 at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations in may be made in Joe’s memory to A Helping Paw, PO Box 387, Buzzards Bay, MA 02532 or Wild Care, 10 Smith Lane, Eastham, MA 02642.
