Joseph R. “Ray” LeBlanc, 81, of Dartmouth died Friday, April 23, 2010 at Brigham & Woman’s Hospital in Boston. He was the husband of Theresa C. (Morriseau) LeBlanc.
Born in New Bedford, he was son of the late Theotime and Olive (Belliveau) LeBlanc. Mr. LeBlanc was the former owner / operator of T. LeBlanc & Sons Flooring Company. A veteran of WWII, he served his country in the Army. He was a Communicant of St. George Church, Westport and was a former Scout Master for Troop 74, St. George Church.
Including his wife, survivors include 2 sons: Paul M. LeBlanc and his wife Sally of Dartmouth and Michael D. LeBlanc and his wife Jane of Easton; 2 daughters: Christine LeBlanc of Dartmouth and Lisa LeBlanc-Hutchings and her husband Ed of FL; 2 brothers: Alyre LeBlanc of New Bedford and Albert LeBlanc of Lakeland, FL; a sister: Adela Bolduc of New Bedford; 6 grandchildren: Rachel Webb, Christopher LeBlanc, Sean LeBlanc, Timothy LeBlanc, Daniel Carlson and Ryan Carlson; and several nieces and nephews.
He was brother of the late Louis, Henry and Ovila LeBlanc.
Mass of Christian Burial to which relatives and friends are invited will be Saturday, May 1, 2010 at St. George Church, Westport at 10:00 A.M.
