Obituary

Maureen M. (Walsh) Saulnier 44, of Franklin, and formerly of West Roxbury, died Saturday April 24, 2010 at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester, following a long illness. She was the wife of the late Edmund F. Saulnier Sr. who died in 2004.
Born August 17, 1965 in Boston, a daughter of the late Dennis J. Walsh Sr. & Ann P. (Murphy) Walsh, she had lived in the West Roxbury section of Boston, before coming to Franklin many years ago.
She was educated in Newton schools and was a graduate of Newton Catholic; she worked for many years as an administrative assistant at Putnam Investments in Franklin until her illness forced her to retire.
Maureen enjoyed being around her family, friends, reading, and music.
She is survived by 4 children; Michael J. Saulnier of Franklin, Edmund F. Saulnier Jr. of Milford, Jacqueline A. Saulnier & Dominique M. Saulnier both of Franklin, a brother; Dennis J. Walsh Jr. of San Diego, California, 5 sisters; Eileen M. Flaherty of Franklin, Margaret A. Brissenden of South Boston, Ann P. Gentile of Dedham, Noreen M. Hegarty of Bogotá, Colombia, & Rita K. Walsh of Framingham.
Also surviving are many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral Friday April 30th, at 9:15AM from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home 33 Cottage St. www.oterifuneralhome.com, with a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church, 1 Church Sq. Franklin, at 10AM.
Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
Calling hours are Thursday from 6-8PM.
In lieu of flowers donations in her memory sent to the Trust of Saulnier Children, 181 Vincent Rd. Dedham, MA 02026 would be appreciated.
