In Hyannis, April 25, 2010 David Chadwick Sr. died at Cape Cod Hospital at the age of 75. David was the husband of the late Gertrude (Healey) Chadwick. Born in Dighton, David was the son of the late Howard C. and Marion (Flynn) Chadwick. He was a graduate from Msgr. Coyle High School and Providence County Day School. David was in the U.S. Navy serving from 1955 to 1961. He was a retired Warehouse Manager for Building 19 in New Bedford retiring in 2003. While David lived in No. Dighton he coached No. Dighton Little League Baseball and Youth Hockey also was an avid boater. David was the father of Martha H. Correia and her husband Rod of Norton, Emily Condon and her husband Jim of South Boston and the late David Chadwick Jr. Brother of Eunice Canty of Boca Raton, Fl and the late Helen Gavin, Howard Chadwick and Jean Farrell. Grandfather of Six Grandchildren. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton Thursday, April 29th at 10 AM. Funeral Mass at St Nicholas of Myra Church in No. Dighton at 11 AM. Calling hours will be held on Wed from 4-7 PM. Interment St. Francis Cemetery in Taunton.
