Mrs. Marguerite B. (Benoit) Brosnan, of Taunton, died Sunday, April 25 in the Life Care Center of Raynham following a period of failing health. She was the wife of the
late James G. Brosnan. She was born 87 years ago in Taunton, the daughter of the late Paul E. and Diana (Boudreau) Benoit. She was educated in Taunton and was a lifelong city resident. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed as a solderer for Texas Instruments in Attleboro for 16 years. Mrs. Brosnan enjoyed baking, playing bingo and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a communicant of the former Immaculate Conception Church in Taunton.

Mrs. Brosnan was also the sister of the late Gerard Benoit of Taunton, Eugene Benoit of Lexington, Paul Benoit of Bedford, N.H., and Cecile Cyr of Taunton.
Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Wednesday, April 28 at 8:45 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Jude the Apostle Church at 9:45 A.M. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held on Tuesday, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.
