Mr. Robert M. Correia, of Assonet, died Wednesday, April 21 in Morton Hospital, Taunton, surrounded by his loving family, following a period of failing health. He was
the husband of Shirley (DeMoura) Correia. He was born 73 years ago in Raynham, the son of the late Manuel and Virginia (Machado) Correia. He was educated in Raynham and had been an Assonet resident for the past 45 years. Prior to his retirement, he had
been employed as a foreman for Sturdy Lantern of Attleboro for 12 years. Mr. Correia had previously been employed as a general foreman for the former F.B. Rogers Silver Company of Taunton for 38 years. He was a member of the Family Motorcoach Association. He enjoyed camping, fishing, NASCAR, and spending time with his family.

8 grandchildren: Heather, Tyler, Courtney, Summer, Eric Jr., Michael, Megan and Jacob
1 great granddaughter: Lianna

A Funeral Service will be held at The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, Taunton, on Saturday, April 24 at 6:00 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment will be private. Visiting Hours will precede the Service, Saturday, from 3:00 to 6:00 P.M.
