Mabel E. Markham “Liz” of Plymouth, MA, formerly of Waltham and Arlington, MA passed away on April 20, 2010, at age 87. Daughter of the late J. Herbert and Hazel Ellis. Beloved wife of Frederick A. Markham, Jr. of Plymouth. Cherished mother of Sandra G. Martin of Cary, NC, and her husband Robert; Frederick A. Markham, III, and his companion Judy DeCarlo of Plymouth, MA; and Robert E. Markham of Waltham, and his wife Sarah. Grandmother of Andrew F. and Holly R. Martin and her partner Tammy Bouchelle of NC. Sister of Kenneth Waite and his wife Sally of Carlisle, MA; Stanton Waite of North Chelmsford, MA; and Winfred (Laurie) Waite of Belmont, NC. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mabel was retired after working many years at Harvard’s Law and Business Schools. Mabel also enjoyed reading, trying new recipes, entertaining friends, following the Red Sox, and she loved her sweets and music.
