Frances E. McCree, 86 of Milford died April 20 in Milford Regional Medical Center.
Born in Boston, March 2, 1924, the daughter of the late Benjamin and Helen (Mitchell) McCree, Frances was raised and lived in Charlestown for many years prior to moving to Milford in the 1970’s.
She had been a waitress at several Boston restaurants.
Frances enjoyed attending the day care center at the Blaire House.
She is survived by her daughter, Dyane Richards and her husband Wayne of Milford and her sons, David Faria of Saugus and Donald Faria of Milford.
She is also survived by her sisters, Doris McCree of Franklin, Loretta Farney of Chula Vista, California and Estelle Melvin of Baltimore, Maryland.
She was the sister of the late Edward and John McCree.
She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 22 in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Franklin at Noon.
