Paul V. Gardner, 80 of Medford formerly of Charlestown died Monday unexpectedly in the Lawrence Memorial Hospital Medford, MA.
Born in Booklyn, NY, he lived in Medford for the past 33 years and formerly of Charlestown and was the son of the late Paul and Mary (Manning) Gardner. He was a Inspector, with the M.B.T.A. for 36 years and retired in 1982. Paul was also a late WW II U.S. Coast Guard veteran from March 18,1943 to December 5, 1945.
Beloved husband of Alice M. (Gardner). Devoted father of Ronald Gardner of Billerica, and Susan Evans of Ft. Worth, TX. Loving grandfather of Ronald, Stacey, Jeffrey, Kristin and James.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. MEDFORD Friday at 9 AM followed by a funeral service in St. John Episcopal Church, 27 Devens St., CHARLESTOWN at 10 AM.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
Visiting hours Thursday 4 thru 8.
Services will conclude with burial at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
