Esther Opitz Ribock
Williamsburg, VA - Entered into rest Saturday, April 17, 2010 at Patriots Colony Convalescent Center, Esther Opitz Ribock, 90, wife of the late Adam E. Ribock.
She was born in Eden, SD to the late Albert and Anna Opitz. Esther graduated from Providence School of Nursing in Washington, DC. She travelled to many places worldwide as an Army wife. She practiced nursing at St. Joseph Hospital in Augusta until 1981 after which she lived in Minneapolis, MN. She resided in Williamsburg, VA since 2002.
She is survived by two sons, Edward (Mary) of Williamsburg, VA, and John (Ann) of Augusta, eight grandchildren, Jennifer, Jonathan, Jason, Ellen, Adam, Mary Anna, Elizabeth and Kim, and ten great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass will be held at noon on Thursday, April 22, 2010, at St. Mary on the Hill Catholic Church. The family will receive friends after the interment at the cemetery.
