Nicola A. “Nick” DelPeschio, of Tewksbury, formerly of Stoneham and Winchester, died Sunday night at Whittier Rehab Hospital in Haverhill. He was 71.
Nick was born and raised in West Roxbury, the son of the late Vincenzo and the late Filomena (Liberatore) DelPeschio. A graduate of English High School he served in the Army before graduating from Newbury College. Nick had a long and productive career with American Airlines as a sales representative to many of the area’s travel agencies. Nick enjoyed golf and hunting and many good times with his family and friends.
The beloved husband of Angela (Corrado) DelPeschio, he was a devoted father to Nicole Bogie and her husband Brian of Burlington and the late Vincent DelPeschio. He was a dear father-in-law to Donna Scire DelPeschio and a loving grandfather to Isabella, Mattea, Madison and Brianna. He was the son-in-law of Angela "Tootie" and the late Henry Corrado, Brother in law of Fred and Marie Dello Russo, nephew of Gilda DeNardis and cousin of Mary and Mario Peccia of Roslindale, Sal and Ida Cristaldi of Dedham.
His funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Thursday April 22nd at 10 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Joseph Church, 118 High Street, Medford, at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 4-8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
