Assunta (DePascalis) Camerano, of Medford, died unexpectedly Friday at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She was 82. The daughter of the late Pasquale and the late Lucia DePascalis, Assunta was born and raised in Commune di Giuggionello, Italy and came to the United States 58 years ago. She has lived in Medford all that time and was devoted to her family and friends.
She was the beloved wife of the late Daniel Camerano who died in 2007. She was a devoted mother to Angelo Camerano and Darlene Jackson of Medford, Rose Muccio of Lowell, Dennis Camerano and his wife Kathie of Billerica, Laura Burckart and her husband Flint of Burbank, CA. She was a loving grandmother to Paul and his wife Diana, Michael, John, Julie, Brian, Teddy, Nicholas and loving great-grandmother to Jaxson Paul. She was the dear sister of Sister Vanda De Pascalis and Giuseppe DePascalis both of Italy.
Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford Wednesday, April 21st at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner Street, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Tuesday 4 -8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
