Dolores A. (Tondreau) Conceicao, 59, of New Bedford died April 17, 2010 after a brief illness surrounded by her family.
Born in Acushnet, the daughter of Ernest Tondreau of Port St. Lucie, FL and the late Alzira (Magina) Tondreau, she lived in New Bedford all of her life.
She was employed by the New Bedford Credit Union and previously worked at Taunton District Court and as a customer service representative for several insurance companies.
Dolores enjoyed traveling to Disney World with her granddaughter and attending her granddaughters sporting events. She was the rock of her family and will be deeply missed.
Survivors include her father; a son, Joey Conceicao of Japan; 2 daughters, Erica Conceicao and Juli Conceicao, both of New Bedford; 2 grandchildren, Vanesa Conceicao and Sean Conceicao; her former husband, Francis "Tappy" Conceicao of Louisiana; several nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 21st at 11 AM in the First Church of the Nazarene. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting hours Tuesday, April 20th from 5-8 PM in the Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals, 495 Park St. New Bedford.
