WORCESTER_____Alfred C. Plitnick, 94, formerly of 36 Upsala St., died Friday, April 16, 2010 in Millbury Healthcare Center, Millbury. His wife, Constance G. (Basel) Plitnick died in 1989.
He leaves his children, Marilyn E. Ball of Whitinsville; Alfred W. “Bill” Plitnick, husband of Cynthia, of Oxford; Maureen A. Paulhus, wife of Richard, of Whitinsville and Patricia J. Zepperi of New Britain, CT., 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter, Cheryl V. Plitnick and by two sisters, Mary and Josephine. He was born in Worcester, a son of Adam J. and Victoria (Urbanavicius) Plitnick.
Mr. Plitnick was a scheduler and expeditor for 40 years for Morgan Construction Co. He retired many years ago. He was a member of Our Lady of Vilna Church and was a member of the former Lithuanian Naturalization & Social Club.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 20 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street with a Mass at 10:30 A.M. in Our Lady of Vilna Church, 151 Sterling Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. A Calling hour will be held on Tuesday, April 20 from 9:00 to 10:00 A.M. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Vilna Church, 151 Sterling St., Worcester, Ma., 01610
