Irene Z. (Arvanigian)Bargamian, 87, of Worcester died Friday, April 16 in St. Mary’s Healthcare Center.
Her husband, John Bargamian died in 1987. She leaves two brothers, Aram Arvanigian and his wife Linda of Worcester and Edward Arvanigian and his wife Marjorie of Dearborn, MI; a sister, Nazig Kalajian of Morton Grove , IL and nieces and nephews. A brother, George Arvanigian predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Karekin and Nevart (Avakian) Arvanigian and graduated from Commerce High School.
Irene was a secretary for ABC Bus Line in Providence, RI and a licensed hairdresser.
She was a member of the Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church, Saint Vartanantz Armenian Church of Providence , the Armenian Woman’s Guild, the Armenian Red Cross and the Armenian Relief Society.
Funeral Services are private in the Holy Trinity Armenian Apostolic Church. Burial will be private in North Burial Ground, Providence, RI.
