Augusta, GA- - Mrs. Nancy Casaday Dickerson, loving wife of 30 years to Edward L. Dickerson, entered into rest Saturday, April 10, 2010 at her residence.
Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, April 14, 2010 at the Platt’s Funeral Home Crawford Avenue Chapel. The Reverend Billy Faulk officiated with Tom Casaday, Steve Cheeks, Harry Smith, Jr. and Mike Dickerson serving as pallbearers.
Nancy, a long time resident of Augusta, was the daughter of the late Morgan and Edna Casaday. She was retired from the Richmond County Tax Accessor’s Office where she worked, for many years, as an auditor.
She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her granddaughter, Katelyn M. Dubose, her son, Richard C. Hawkins, Jr., her daughter, Inthia L. Birchfield; a brother Tom Casaday (Quata), two sisters, Sue Smith (Harry) and Linda Taylor and several beloved nieces and nephews.
