Doris P. Hudson, 81, of Derry, NH died Tuesday April 13, 2010 at the Mount Carmel Nursing Home, Manchester, NH. She was born in Chelsea, MA on December 24, 1928 a daughter of the late Phillip and Mildred (Puddister) Hudson. Ms. Hudson was a resident of Derry for 6 years, native of Chelsea. She graduated from Chelsea High School, Class of 1947. She was employed by GTE Sylvania, Quincy, MA for many years before retiring.
She is survived by one brother William J. Hudson of N. Raleigh, NC, several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation, private burial will be held at a later date in the Lakeview Cemetery, Hampstead. Donations may be made in Ms. Hudson's memory to the Children's Hospital Boston, 300 Longwood Avenue, Boston, MA 02115. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, of Derry and Londonderry are handling the arrangements.
