Eleanor M."Ellie" Stewart, 61 of Derry, NH, died Sunday, October 19, 2003 at her home. Mrs. Stewart was born in Lawrence, MA on July 19, 1942, a daughter of the late Louis and Mary (Schiller) Adam. She was a resident of Derry for 28 years, formerly living in Wakefield, MA. She graduated from St. Mary's High School, Lawrence, MA, Class of 1959. She was a communicant of St. Thomas Aquinas Church in Derry and brought communion to those shut-ins unable to attend church.
She is survived by her husband, Dale G. Stewart Sr. of Derry, NH, two sons, Dale G. Stewart Jr. of Weare, NH, Mason J. Stewart of Manchester, NH, one daughter, Melissa E. Goodsell of Clinton, MA, one step-daughter, Sandra Veirs of Phoenix, AZ, five granchildren, three half siblings. She was raised by her aunt, Eleanor Schiller of Salem, NH.
Following cremation, memorial calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 23rd from 6 - 8pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00AM in the St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Avenue, Derry. Burial will follow in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Londonderry, NH .
