AUBURN-M. Patricia “Pat” Connors, 73, of 38 Oxford Street died Saturday, October 18th in Saint Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center after a short illness. Her husband, Raymond L. Connors predeceased her in 1973. She leaves a daughter, Maureen M., wife of John J. Carroll both of Auburn; nieces and nephews including, Kathleen G. Fuller of Auburn, Patricia M. Crosson of Shrewsbury and Joseph F. Connors of Grafton; 2 great nephews, Gerald W. Madore and Michael F. Fuller both of Auburn; a great great nephew; a great great niece; 2 sister-in-laws, Olive V. Gallant of Auburn and Antonette Connors of Worcester; many close friends including her life long friends, Florence E. Parmenter and Donna J. Copozzo both of Auburn and Jean Gaskill Cournoyer of Georgia. A brother, William J. Gallant predeceased her in 1997.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of William C. and Marie M. (Blais) Gallant. Mrs. Connors worked as a salesperson in retail for many years until retirement. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church and its Women’s Guild. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, shopping and playing bingo.
The funeral will be Wednesday, October 22nd from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, Worcester with a Mass at 11:00 AM in St. Joseph’s Church, 189 Oxford Street. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are Tuesday, October 21st from 4:00 until 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
