Erica “Mary” Capobianco, of Medford, died Friday at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital. She was 93. Born in Portland, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Agrippino and the late Josephine (Siracusa) Montalto. Raised in East Boston, She lived in Medford since 1958. Before her retirement, Mary worked as a clerk with the Registry of Motor Vehicles.
She was the beloved wife of the late Angelo Capobianco. She was a devoted mother to David "Cappy" Capobianco and his wife Lola of Saugus, and Paul Capobianco of Medford. She was a loving friend of Paul Doughty of Medford and a dear sister to the late Joseph, Camille, Andrew, and Louie Montalto. Mary also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Tuesday April 13th at 9:30 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Monday 4 - 8. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Mary’s name to the charity of One’s choice.
