RICHARD J. “BUD” SMITH, JR., 87, of Louisville, passed away on Sunday, April 4, 2010.
He was a retired Marketing Specialist for General Electric; a Shively City Council Member for over 30 years, a member of the American Legion, a U of L graduate, and an Army veteran of WW II.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Smith.
Survivors include his sons, Daniel William “Danny” Smith and Richard Joseph “Rick” Smith, III; his daughters, Marty Kaelin (Matt), Vickie Hampton, and Kathy Johnson (Bobby); ten grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial in Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 – 8 p.m. Monday, and 12 – 8 p.m. Tuesday.
