
LAWRENCE – Linda G. (Eddy) Daley 58, lifelong resident of Lawrence died of a sudden illness at the Kindred Hospital in Peabody, MA.
Born and educated in Lawrence, she was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School and attended Macintosh business School and Merrimack College. She currently worked as an accountant for the Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts in North Andover and was committed to the mission of Girl Scouting. For several years she was also an accountant at Lyons Associates and prior to that, she was the owner and President of Daley’s Family Market. For many years Linda was a dedicated worker and director of Sacred Heart Bingo and served as advisor to the State Lottery Commission on Bingo affairs.
Linda enjoyed her family above all and organized and hosted large family gatherings throughout the years.
She is survived by her husband Barry F. Daley, sons Christopher Boardman and Eric Boardman of Lawrence.
Her parents Verne and Yvonne (Bourassa) Eddy of Lawrence, MA.
Brothers Edward Eddy and his wife Lorna of Phoenix, AZ, Earl Eddy and his wife Barbara of Dracut, MA and her sister Susan Coco and her husband Kevin of Methuen, MA.
She is also survived by six grandchildren and step-grandchildren to which she devoted her life; Kateley and Chris Boardman, Amber Boardman all of Lawrence, MA, Jazmin Boardman of New York, Willie Flyer of Lawrence, MA and Stacey Shugrue of Lowell, MA.
She also leaves numerous beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and godchildren throughout the country.
ARRANGEMENTS: In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Girl Scouts of Eastern Massachusetts 1740 Turnpike Street North Andover, MA 01845. Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday from 2:00p.m. – 6:00p.m. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence Street Methuen, MA 01844. All are invited to St. Michael’s Church, 196 Main St., North Andover, MA for a Memorial Mass on Monday at 11:30a.m. Family and friends are asked to go directly to the Church.
